The Plains, Ohio - We are excited to continue honoring and introducing you to our Hickory Creek Heroes! Today, you get to meet Brooklyn, Tyler, Kroy, Bob, and Will! Make sure you click on the individual picture to see what makes them so special. Get to know our heroes behind the mask!




Get to know Brooklyn behind the mask! Brooklyn Sikorski has been a hero at Hickory Creek in our activities department for almost two years! When she is not being a hero on the front-line, she likes to walk her dogs, fish, hunt, and spend time with her friends and family. When we asked Brooklyn what her favorite thing about her job at Hickory Creek was, she said, "I enjoy getting to see the residents smile and getting to create bonds I will forever cherish!" We also asked Brooklyn what advice she would give to the public about the COVID-19 Pandemic. She said, "Please wash your hands and be SMART!" Thank you for being our Hero, Brooklyn!

 



Get to know Tyler behind the mask! Tyler Rose, STNA, has been a hero at Hickory Creek for the last 5! When he is not being a hero on the front-line, he likes to race dirt bikes locally and nationally! When we asked Tyler what his favorite thing about his job at Hickory Creek was, he said, "Getting to work with Dementia and Alzheimer's residents!" We also asked Tyler what advice he would give to the public about the COVID-19 Pandemic. He said, "Just follow the guidelines that the CDC has set, and hopefully, this will all be over soon." Thank you for being our Hero, Tyler!




Get to know Kroy behind the mask! Kroy Sorrell, LPN, has been in the healthcare industry for almost four years. She was an STNA for two years and became a nurse in 2018. She has been a hero at Hickory Creek for over a year! When she is not being a hero on the front-line, she likes to go hiking with her dogs, reading, and spending time with her friends and family! When we asked Kroy what her favorite thing about her job at Hickory Creek was, she said, "Spending time with the residents! I also like to learn new skills to further my nursing career." We also asked Kroy what advice she would give to the public about the COVID-19 Pandemic. She said, "Wash your hands, wear your mask, and stay home!" Thank you for being our Hero, Kroy!

 



Get to know Bob behind the mask! Bob Baxter, RN, has been in the healthcare industry since 2012. He has been a hero at Hickory Creek, working as an RN for almost a year! When he is not being a hero on the front-line, he likes to garden and hike. When we asked Bob what his favorite thing about his job at Hickory Creek was, he said, "Helping others in need!" We also asked Bob what advice he would give to the public about the COVID-19 Pandemic. He said, "Don't let fear and anxiety rule your life." Thank you for being our Hero, Bob!




Get to know Will behind the mask! Will Goins, STNA, has been a hero in our dietary department for five years. In the last 4 of those years, he has also served as an STNA here at Hickory Creek! We are very thankful he is always willing to help out in whichever department he is needed! When he is not being a hero on the front-line, he likes to hike, travel, and play games. When we asked Will what his favorite thing about his job at Hickory Creek was, he said, "The amazing co-workers I work with are like my second family and the awesome residents make work more fun!" We also asked Will what advice he would give to the public about the COVID-19 Pandemic. He said, "Wash your hands often and use good hygiene to keep yourself and others safe." Thank you for being our Hero, Will!
